It sure happened fast. Surgery is scheduled for tomorrow. Of course my good knee is giving me fits again. I'm hoping it is just because it isn't getting any exercise and it hasn't been elevated for 2 days.
Have to be at the hospital at 9. Only need to bring a drivers license since I've already paid my deductible.
I'm going to be the proud owner of a knee scooter. I already asked .... it doesn't come in colors. There's a knee mover machine that will be on loan for 21 days. And I get to keep the continuous ice pack machine. I had one for my shoulder surgery and boy, did that ever feel good. I think I used it for about the first week non-stop.
I have some special soap to wash my knee with tonight and again in the morning.
They won't let me bring in my ipod to listen to music. Too bad. Guess I'll have to tell the surgeon what kind of music he should listen to since I know even though you are really in a deep sleep, the subconscious is aware of your surroundings.
Faith that things will go well, trust in the surgeon's skill and all will be well.
